Harrogate Knitting and Stitching show 2009

The Harrogate opens to the public on Thursday 19th November. I will once again be exhibiting with the Embroiderers Guild Graduate Showcase stand. Since the Alexandra Palace show I have been stitching my fingers down to the bone developing a new selection of brooches and smaller framed drawings that relat to the installation piece. This is a response to the feedback I received at Ally Pally where visitors expressed how much they loved my installation, if only there was a way they could take a piece of it home with them.

Knitting and Stitch Show- Alexandra Palace

October 8th-11th I will be in London exhibiting as part of the 'Graduate Showcase' at the Knitting and Stitch Show. The work on show is a developement of the Bronte Parsonage museum project I first exhibited at New Designers. Installing the piece is going to be a challenge as I only have one day and hundreds of tiny silk letters to indivudualy pin to the wall to spell out the Bronte Verses.

'Two for Joy'

"Two for Joy' is one of the projects I'm currently working on. It is still very much in its infancy. It is a collaborative jewellery project I'm working on along with Artist Lois Whitehead.
